  • WATER/SEWER/TRASH BILLING & LATE FEES: PLEASE READ!!

BILLING DATES: EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1st, 2017

1. Billing is mailed and or emailed approximately the last week of each month and is DUE upon receipt.                                      
2. ***Bill MUST BE PAID by the 20th. no later than 4:30 P.M.!! of each month.
****At 4:31 P.M on the 20th and after, any and all payments received will be considered late...
and a 10% late fee will be added at this point)****
3. If the bill remains unpaid by the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH of the same month, at the end of the business day (4:30 P.M.) service will be disconnected and an additional penalty of $35.00 will be added to your account to reconnect.
                        

FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT LATE FEES:

Life gets crazy at times and sometimes we all seem to forget about a bill or two. When things get hectic, just remember the City gives you time and options to make your Utility payment. 
The City accepts payments from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (M-F).
You have several options to make or drop off payments: Online payments (E-Pay), or our easy Drop-box for after hours and walk-ins. Coming into the office to pay your bill is easier. 
If you are on vacation or out of town, have a relative/friend/neighbor bring the payment in for you. 

DROP BOX & E-PAY:


Use our easy access drop box for your payments. Located by the west side entry-lower parking lot. 
If payment is placed in the drop box after 4:30 PM on the 20th. it is considered LATE and you will be charged a penalty FEE OF 10%.
*Reminder: 1. if you use our drop box, our last drop box check is at 4:25 pm. on the 20th. 
                    2. If you use E-pay, ensure the payment is in before 4:30 pm to avoid any late fees, penalties or shut                                    offs to your water. 

TIPS TO AVOID LATE PENALTY FEES:
  • Payments must be in the Utility Office by the 20th. BEFORE 4:30 PM
  • Plan your trip and include a stop to the Utility Office. 
  • Have a relative or friend bring your payment in if you cannot make it in before 4:30 on the 20th. 
  • Use our Drop Box or E pay for after hours payments.
  • All payments received or brought in after the 20th and after 4:30 PM closing of business day will unfortunately have a 10% penalty fee applied on the next billing cycle.
  • Late Charges:
  • If any payments have not been paid by the last day of each month, a $35.00 late fee plus the 10% fee for not paying by the 20th. will be included on your bill. 
  • In order to have water turned back on you will have to pay: Original monthly bill total of bill + 10% + $35.00. AVOID THESE FEES IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! 
  • LATE CHARGE EXAMPLE:  
  •  Original Bill received is..........................................................................................$50.00 
  •  IF Payment is not paid by the 20th (by 4:30PM) of the month-10% fee..............$5.00
  •  IF Payment is not paid by the last day of the month: Late Fee..........................$35.00 (Water will be shut off)
  • Total Bill now............................................................................................................$90.00 (to get water turned back on)
