What are Fam/Press Tours?
Perhaps you are not familiar with FAM/Press Tours. These are tours that are meant to familiarize media members with our area and its offerings. Additionally, we offer these tours to individuals or groups of press members who are looking to learn about Warsaw, Lincoln and Cole Camp.
How Does a Fam/Press Tour Work?
The FAM/Press Tours can be customized to each group’s interests. When the individual or group plans a tour, we will work with you to schedule activities for the entire day. If the media wants to have a completely scheduled itinerary, we can provide one. You will have the option to be accompanied by a representative for the entirety of your tour or for part of the time. Some guests find it helpful to have us join them for their tour, which is why we provide that option. If you would prefer to take the tour without a guide, you are free to do so.
We can schedule tours if we are contacted by the media and given a specific date that they would like to come. We can also offer one tour per year to media groups. These tours can cover categories, such as outdoor recreation, dining, or shopping.
