Lucas Oil Speedway
Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri is a multi-sport racing facility. The land that was originally a hayfield and soybean field now hosts a dirt track, an off-road track, and a slick track, as well as Lake Lucas, which is the World’s first purpose-built drag boat racing lake.
The Lucas Oil Speedway is one of the top five race tracks in the nation and is referred to as “The Diamond of Race Tracks.” It has 21 VIP luxury suites, a JumboTron screen, Musco Sports Lighting, a Bose Stadium sound system and Go Karts for all ages. Not to mention The Diamond Bar, which is considered to be the best track food in the country.
The speedway hosts a variety of dirt track events throughout the season. Some of these include The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, POWRi Midget National Series, The Lucas Oil Pro-Pulling League, Casey’s General Stores USMTS Modifieds, ASCS Sprint Cars, and The Lucas Oil MLRA Series. In addition to these special events, the speedway also hosts weekly racing events.
The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series allows top off-road short course drivers to tackle a 1.2-mile long track with 9 turns, a tabletop jump and more. Watching these drivers maneuver a difficult course like this one is sure to excite any fan of any age!
Lucas Oil Speedway includes a go-kart track open to all ages. If you or the whole family would like to try your hand behind the wheel, you can grab a go-kart any time during an event-day at the Speedway. The slick track is also available for private parties or special events.
Lake Lucas is the World’s first purpose-built drag boat racing lake and is approximately 4,000 X 400 ft with 8-foot-deep water. During these races, boats can get up to 260 miles per hour! You don’t want to miss the excitement.
