Berry Bend Campground/Equestrian Park

This large, year-round campground offers 110 sites with 30-amp electric hookups.  Amenities include flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry facilities and a dump station. Berry Bend South B Loop consists of eight campsites. B1 is a primitive site and the rest are very spacious with full hook-ups including 50 amp electricity, water and sewer. There is a flush toilet in the B loop but no showers. Campers needing shower facilities must use the shower house in the C Loop.

Berry Bend Campground sits on the shores of Harry S. Truman Lake in the hills of western Missouri.

NATURAL FEATURES

Truman Lake lies among rolling hills and rocky bluffs. Dense hardwood forests studded with mature cedar trees cover the area.

RECREATION

Berry Bend Area is an excellent fishing location. Anglers find crappie, largemouth bass and blue and flathead catfish. Truman Lake is also a popular destination for tournament fishermen.

Several miles of trails are available for hikers and horses within Berry Bend. The West Trail traverses many steep ridges and valleys, while the East Trail is somewhat more level and overlooks the lake in several areas.

Berry Bend Equestrian is located nearby and open to campers with horses – it has 24 standard electric sites and 4 primitive sites.

FACILITIES:

Located centrally within Lincoln and Warsaw, we are only a couple of miles from Clear Creek and Mack’s Camp boat ramps and within 10 miles to Thibaut Point and Windsor Crossing boat ramps.  Did you forget to bring something, no problem.  It’s a short drive to the nearest Super Walmart in Warsaw.​

Deer Rest has full hookups, pull-thru water, level sites, dump station, picnic tables, meeting facilities, shore fishing, trees and grass and more.  They are conveniently and centrally located for campers in Warsaw, Truman Lake and West Lake of the Ozarks area.  The campground location is within the city limits of Warsaw.

Deer Rest is a safe, quiet, secluded, lakeside campground which is within walking distance of a supermarket, family and fast-food restaurants, service stations, garage and video, hardware, convenience, auto parts, and package stores.​

They are noted for their excellent shower facilities.  The bathhouse is large, clean and extra nice.  Its showers/restrooms are exceptional by any campground standards.  ​

Kirn Lakeview RV Park is a yearly rental RV Park.  They have full hookups and some lots offer 50amp service.  There is a shower house with a laundry area and fish cleaning station.  There is a spot to leave the boat (uncovered) but would allow extra space by campers to park your boat.

There is an Army Corp campground with boat ramp and swim beach less than 1/2 mile past the campground.

Kolb’s Lakeside Resort & Campground

Longshoal Park sits on the shores of Harry S. Truman Lake in the hills of western Missouri.

They offer full-hookup RV campsites and areas for tent camping. You can rent by the night, or for a month, or if you’re looking for a place to set up your RV or travel trailer more permanently, RV sites can also be rented by the year so it will always be in-place here and ready for you come and use.​

All sites come with a concrete pad and picnic table, water, sewer, and either 30- or 50-amp electricity hookups. Some are sunny and grassy, some are shady with clean white gravel, and some are a little of both.​

Most of the campsites can comfortably accommodate a moderately large-sized RV or travel trailer, but some sites are larger. Most of our campsites also have adequate space to park one or two vehicles or a vehicle and a boat, but if you need more room to park, we can usually find space.​
