BID ADVERTISEMENT FOR STEAMBOAT LANDING BOARDWALK
FEMA Project 120333, City of Warsaw, MO
Sealed bids shall be endorsed “Proposal” for constructing Steamboat Landing, FEMA Project 120333 DR4551 Boardwalk on Lake, and will be received by the City of Warsaw until 2 o’clock p.m. (Central Standard Time) on the 25st day of February, 2021 at 181 W. Harrison St. Warsaw, MO. Bids will NOT be accepted after this date and time under any circumstances. Due to Co-Vid 19 Protocols there will be no in-person public opening of Bids. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom Meeting with a date and time to be established in a forthcoming Addendum.
The project is generally described as: Existing Boardwalk Removal, new Boardwalk framing and decking, reinstallation of handrail, light post modification and shoreline armor restoration.
Copies of the proposed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the City of Warsaw upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $25.00 for each set of plans and specifications. Information regarding this project can also be found on the City of Warsaw website.
Prevailing Wage rates apply to this project. State Wage Rates may be downloaded from the Internet via Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Labor Laws/Wages, Hours and Dismissal Rights/ General Wage Order).
The City of Warsaw hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.”
A certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.
The City of Warsaw reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
