We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

Benton County offers social distancing in the great outdoors throughout our beautiful county.  But please do your part to flatten the curve by practicing social distancing and CDC guidelines when visiting our communities.

For up-to-date information please visit the Benton County Health Department at

Most of the stores have been implementing additional safety measures to also follow the CDC guidelines.  However, we highly recommend following the CDC guidelines also and helping to flatten the curve.

Before visiting, please be sure and contact the place of business that you will be coming to in order to get current information.

In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy and we are here when you’re ready to visit.

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.  We wanted to provide updates on what we know as of today so that everyone can make preparations for their summer plans.  First of all, our businesses are re-opening following the CDC, Governor and city guidelines that have been put into place.  We would ask that if you visit – please also following the social distancing guidelines and if you are a high risk individual – to please protect yourself or stay at home.  We will be here when you are ready and feel comfortable visiting.

The Army Corp of Engineers managed boat ramps, campgrounds and beaches published this document late last week and we wanted to share it with you.  Please note that things can change so this is as we have been made aware.  Please visit their website for up-to-date information.

In light of the new ordinances in place Friday by the City, County and State, I am attaching the following documents so that all documents are in one place for businesses, residents and tourists:

Things seem to change on an hourly basis and we are trying to keep up and inform you all of what we know so that you can make well-informed decisions.

Osage Arm of Lake of the Ozarks:
Drake Harbor closed the city ramps on Friday.  Rick’s Oar House ramp is public use with a minimal fee.  Kolb’s Lakeside Resort and Buck Naked Marina both have public boat ramps with courtesy docks and a minimal fee to launch.  .

Truman Lake:
Corp managed ramps are open but there are no courtesy docks except for on privately owned businesses (State Park Marina, Osage Bluff and Sterett Creek).  State Park Marina has no fee to access.  Sterett Creek has a minimal fee and Osage Bluff has a minimal fee to use the ramp.  Sterett Creek and State Park Marinas are open at this time and Osage Bluff Marina has a number posted for people to contact them if they need anything with a 5-10 minute response time.

Note:  The above information is as accurate as possible and does change frequently and subject to change without notice.  Please contact each business for up-to-date information.
