INVITATION TO BID CITY OF WARSAW
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Warsaw, Missouri at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 201 West Main, P.O. Box 68, Warsaw, Missouri 65355 until 2:00 P.M. on the 5th of November, 2021 on a capital improvement project described in general as “Steamboat Landing, FEMA Project 120333 DR4551 Boardwalk on Lake” in the City of Warsaw, Missouri. Bids will NOT be accepted after this date and time under any circumstances. Due to Co-Vid 19 Protocols, there will be no in-person public opening of Bids. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom Meeting with a date and time to be established in a forthcoming Addendum. Prevailing Wage rates apply to this project. State Wage Rates may be downloaded from the Internet via Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Labor Laws/ Wages, Hours and Dismissal Rights/ General Wage Order). The proposed work includes: Boardwalk Removal and Protection, Handrail Removal and Reinstall – 936 Lineal Feet, Installation of new Boardwalk – 12,375 Square Feet, Shoreline Armor Restoration – 59 Cubic Yards, Sidewalk Transition – 135 Square Feet, Light Post Modification – 8 Each, Gravel Border – 1165 Linear Feet and Pervious Paver – 185 Square feet. Proposed Bidding Documents may be examined at Warsaw City Hall: City Clerk City Hall 201 West Main P.O. Box 68 Warsaw, Missouri 65355 Copies of the proposed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the City of Warsaw upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $25.00 for each set of plans and specifications. Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please notify Randy Pogue, at (660) 438-5522, or through Missouri Relay System, TDD, at least five (5) working days prior to the bid opening you plan to attend. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in these appendices. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the “Work Hours Act of 1962”, (P.L. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations. The City hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
