City Government

Warsaw’s City Government consists of a mayor and six aldermen. The city is divided into three wards, with two aldermen from each ward. Elections are held each year, with one alderman position from each ward being re-elected. The position of mayor is open for re-election every two years.

City council meetings are held the first and third Mondays of the month at 6pm in the Council Chambers room at the Community Building.  All are welcome to attend.

To assist the Board of Aldermen and mayor, there are seven Boards and Commissions.
