Restored Building in Downtown Lincoln- Your Gateway to the Lake!

Do you need to get away from it all? Come to Fisher’s Hide-a-Way and find a little rest and relaxation! Located in a lovingly restored building on historic Main Street in quaint Lincoln, MO, where the downtown area is being renovated one building at a time. Loaded with amenities such as luxury bedding and extra soft and fluffy towels, this vacation rental has everything you are looking for in that much needed break!

While you are enjoying yourself out on the back deck, or by the fire ring roasting marshmallows or cozied up inside with a good book or movie, perhaps we can help you get motivated to mosey around Lincoln. Less than one block up Main Street is a City Park across from City Hall. You can take a peek into our “Green Space” being created right next door to City Hall by the local High School. If you want a longer walk, Lincoln Antiques is only a mile away and sure to provide some fun, but maybe you should bring the car for all of the treasures you’ll find!

Has all of this fast-paced walking gotten you hungry? We’ve got you covered! A little more than ½ a mile away, you will find Mozark Mocha for that much needed coffee fix. Shirley’s Highway Café will fill you up with one of their big hearty breakfasts. Perhaps you are in the mood for a really good old-fashioned burger and shake from historic Estes Drive In? They have the best hot fudge sundaes! We didn’t even mention a huge buffet out in the country requiring a beautiful scenic drive or the best tacos you can find anywhere! If you don’t want to cook, you won’t go hungry here.

Looking for a little outdoor recreation? The Hide-a-Way is located 9 minutes away from Truman Lake and Lake of the Ozarks in Warsaw, or just 7 minutes away from Thibaut Point Boat Ramp on Truman Lake, home to some of the best bass and crappie fishing around. There are some beautiful and scenic drives around us that would be ideal for the motorcyclist or someone looking to have a relaxed drive. Perhaps a little backroad biking is your thing… well we have that too! Lincoln is surrounded by gravel bike routes and the Butterfield 60 comes right through Lincoln every November. Lincoln is a part of the US Bike Route 51 that travels from New Orleans to Minneapolis as well.

We hope you choose Fisher’s Hide-a-Way to stay in because we are sure you are going to love it!

*High Speed Internet is coming to Lincoln. They have laid most of the fiber-optics and we hope to get it by mid-summer 2022. We will update with the progress.
