Mission:    "The Benton County Development Corporation (BCDC) will direct economic development initiatives, facilitate County cooperation and assist groups and individuals in their pursuit of local development opportunities to enhance our County's quality of life."

• We are a public/private partnership which exists to serve the economic development interests of all Benton County communities and citizens.

• We were created to enhance the conomic vitality and quality of life found in Benton County. BCEDC will provide economic and development assistance to existing and new businesses, local development organizations and governments.

• BCEDC will also direct County-wide economic development initiatives, facilitate County cooperation and active assist organizations in their pursuit of local development efforts.

• BCEDC would be mandated to work from a measurable, annual strategic marketing/operating plan, created in collaboration with local communities, which sets forth specific development goals for individual communities and the overall County.

• Assist new businesses to the County and the communities
• Work with existing businesses to address their needs
• Promote and market the County Enhanced Enterprise Zone
• Organize and coordinate Tourism development efforts within the County
• Work with communities, help achieve development goals
