Eagle Days:
Date: Normally held on the Saturday of Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

Did you know that Eagles develop the white head and tail around the age of 5 years? or did you know that an adult Eagle has a wing span of approx. 6 ft wide! Come find out more about our National Bird the Bald Eagle. See live Eagles presented by the Dickerson Zoo, learn how Eagles hunt, or how big nest can be and more, look at art displays, photographs and more. Great Experience for the whole family. Normally held on the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday....Don't want to miss this....stayed tuned for 2017 Eagle Days! Amazing Event!!

Jubilee Days:

Hosted by the Jubilee Days Committee.
This years Jubilee Days brings four days of fun. Come see the Car Show, Parade, Carnival, Bike Races, Turtle Races, FFA Petting Zoo, Karaoke Contest and a little Miss Contest.
Their will be plenty of vendors displaying Arts & Crafts, Food vendors and much much more...on the entertainment side,
this years "Dirt Road Addiction" will be performing live country music.  SO-mark your Calendar now because you don't want to miss out on all the fun & Excitement.

The Dam Experience:

This is the largest fireworks show around. Fireworks are shot off from the Truman Lake Dam and A.M Pyrotechnics will be conducting a patriotic salute to America with music from KDKD 95.3 FM. This event has numerous areas to view from and they may also be seen from boats around the Dam as well as from the nearby park areas. Get there early for a great spot. Donations are greatly appreciated by the Chamber of Commerce or the day of the event. 
Fireworks start at dusk. 

Rodeo

Location: Rodeo arena behind Beth's Osage Mini Mart , Main St.
Sponsored by Warsaw Masonic Lodge. 
This event is URA and MRCA sanctioned.

August
1st. Annual Trashboat Regatta:  2017 Cancelled

Time:
Individual OR Groups can join in on the fun to build a floating vessel out of re-purposed items such as; milk jugs, old coolers, wood, anything that might get you down the river to Drake Harbor. 
No entry fee, however donations made to the ASPCA or a local animal shelter is greatly appreciated.

Relay for Life:

This event is held a Drake Harbor and raises thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.  
From 6:00 pm-12:00 midnight this years event includes: A live auction, survival walk, luminary ceremony and music that fills the evening.
Come Celebrate, Remember and Fight, for those with Cancer as well as those who have lost the battle with Cancer and those who have survived. Hope to see you there.

2 Dam Days Paddle Marathon:

The 7th annual LOWA (Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance) presents the 2 Dam Days Paddle Marathon. From 3 miles to 92 miles this event has something for everyone. Kayaks to Stand Up Paddle Boards participants can race in teams or individually.

Pumpkin Painting and or Craft Classes

This events provides the Pumpkins, decorating kit for each person along with breakfast goodies that include: Bagels, Coffee & juice. 
All ages welcome to come have fun painting pumpkins.

This two day festival hosted by the Warsaw Area Chamber of Commerce is a two day festival celebrating  and honoring both the historical and modern day crafts of our Missouri pioneers. Step back in time....see craft demonstrations from the 1800's at the Visitor Center while downtown's Drake Harbor features modern day crafts in large tents. Boo on the Square:

Dare you to join us at this years Boo on the Square. Enjoy trick-or treating as the local businesses decorate a space at the Benton County Courthouse Square to hand out tricks or treats in a safe and friendly surrounding. Great for all ages. Area streets around the square are closed during this event. Great prizes donated by local businesses. Several local churches trunk -or-treat out of their cars. Stayed tuned for this fun event.

Christmas Lights On:
Date: NOV 22nd.

The Downtown area and Drake Harbor holiday lights will turn on at sunset November 22nd. and will continue until January 2nd. for holiday enjoyment. 
Walk or drive the downtown and Harbor areas for an array of lights, colors and smells of the holidays. Enjoy with family and friends.

Kaysinger Christmas: 
Date: Dec. 1st. & Dec 2nd.
Time: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: Harry S. Truman Visitor Center

The Kaysigner Bluff Pioneer Heritage Association presents their annual celebration of Christmas in the 1800's. This event is located at the Kaysigner Bluff Visitor Center. Enjoy hay wagons rides, signing of carols, fireplaces, wood stoves, luminaries and buildings decked out in old fashion decor. Step back into time and see what it is like to have only candles for light. Come and enjoy hot coco, hot apple cider, visit the General store to find unique gifts and more. 
DRESS WARM...THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT!!
Adults $3.00 - Children 6-12: $2.00 Ages 5 and under FREE.!!
Wristbands are good for admission on both days.
Lunch and Dinner available at the food barn.

9:00 -11:00 AM- Breakfast with Santa at the Community Building. Advance Tickets are available for $5.00 at the Community Building Parks & Recreation Dept., Warsaw Senior Center at Harbor Village, Warsaw Health & Rehab office or $7.00 at the door (Comm. Building). Breakfast with Santa is held in the Community building and sponsored by the Benton County Human Service Council. All proceeds benefit the Senior Citizens Outreach to Area Seniors of Benton County.

TREES FOR CHARITY


ANY BUSINESS, CIVIC ORGANIZATION, INDIVIDUAL, CHURCH ETC MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE FIRST, "TREES FOR CHARITY" DECORATION CONTEST!!
All trees decorated will be on display at the Community Building during the  Christmas on the Harbor event.
The public will be able to view and vote with pennies                ( or dollars) for their favorite tree. 
All proceeds from votes will go towards the winning teams charity of choice!
