Warsaw Parks and Recreation offers alternative fitness ideas for adults as well as kids. There are plenty of ways to get out and exercise without really knowing it. Just by walking, you can enjoy the benefit of staying healthy, and you can explore all sorts of areas and trails around Warsaw. You do no have to be a fitness buff or a full on mountain bike racer to enjoy the trails, so come on out, bring the kids, walk the dog or simply take a slow relaxing stroll on any of our area trails, board walk or walking paths. Come Walk the Seasons

RAIN, SNOW, SLEET OR SHINE! If it is too cold or too hot you can still get your walk in! The Community Building is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for walkers. (Occasionally there are special events or holidays and the gym is closed or in use.) Come with friends or family.

River Front Trails in Warsaw
Take your pick....Walk, Bike or Hike numerous Riverfront Trails throughout Warsaw. The trails provide adventure, fun and exercise plus spectacular scenery from each and every trail. If you'd like to just stroll around the Harbor, you can, or if you would like to walk, bike or hike several trails, you can do that too. Most trails are hard packed gravel trails and some are even partially paved. Trails are also handicap accessible, so hit the trails and enjoy the fresh air and the scenery. Get out and explore.

Mountain Biking

Plenty of trails for both hiking and mountain bikers. The mountain bike/hiking park offers competitions for mountain bikers and has numerous beginner and extreme trails. check it out!!

This construction of the course was a joint effort between the City of Warsaw and the Boy Scouts. Completion was made possible thanks to the support of business and individual sponsors.
This is extremely fun for the whole family and it will test your abilities and skills to throw disc into a nine basket course that have been strategically placed around the park for playing pleasure. The game is played by attempting to get your disc in the basket with the fewest number of throws. Different disc and weights add to the challenge of this game to see what disc is best suited for the separation lengths of the baskets. 
Located at M.K. White Park this disc golf park is free and open any time you wish to play.

Indoor Basketball
Enjoy shootin' some hoops. The Community Building is open to the public Monday-Friday from 2:00 - 4:30 pm for playing basketball, volleyball and or other activities.
Other School related sport practices must be scheduled in advance for the gym at the Community Building.
